How our text messaging works, how you opt in, and how to opt out at any time.

TourScale Franchising, LLC operates the TourGrid / TourStaff platform that our local tour operators (Trolley Pub, Pedal Pub, Paddle Pub, Tiki Pub, and Cruisin' Tikis) use to manage bookings. With your consent, we send text messages on behalf of the specific operator you booked with. Every message names that operator. This page explains exactly what you can expect and how your consent is collected.
What messages you'll receive
Depending on the options you select, you may receive two kinds of message:
- Transactional / account — booking confirmations, payment links, tour reminders, and schedule updates about your reservation.
- Occasional promotional — if you separately opt in, post-tour review requests and occasional offers from the operator.
How you opt in (consent)
Consent is always consumer-initiated, standalone, and never pre-checked — providing a phone number alone never opts you in. During online checkout on your operator's booking page, you personally tick an un-pre-checked SMS consent checkbox. Transactional and promotional consent are captured as separate, independent checkboxes, so you can agree to one without the other. Below is exactly what that checkbox looks like:

Message frequency
Message frequency varies. Transactional messages are typically limited to a few per booking (for example, a confirmation, a payment link, and a reminder); promotional messages, if you opt in, are occasional. Total volume depends on how many tours you book.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply per your mobile carrier. Check with your carrier for details. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How to opt out or get help
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you reply STOP, we send one final confirmation and will not send you further SMS messages unless you opt back in (reply START). For help, reply HELP to any message, or email us at support@tourscale.com.
Your privacy
No mobile information (including phone numbers) or SMS opt-in data is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Data sharing with our service providers is limited to what is strictly necessary to deliver the messages you requested (for example, our SMS gateway provider).
